It’s Good Friday and with that the 4 day weekend in the UK has begun! I’m also on holiday until the end of the month, so life is good! I look forward to flying home to see my family. I will also have a lot of time over the next week or so to tackle all the books left to read in April. How exciting!
Tell me, how do you guys use Goodreads? I’m trying to get myself into using it more. Before now, I’ve only really used it to add books that I’ve read either after I finished them, or as I’m reading them. But I realised there’s so much more to Goodreads. I don’t get involved with discussions nor look at recommendations and this is something I definitely want to explore further.
Yesterday I added every single physical book from my TBR shelf on my “want to read” shelf on my app. The scanning works amazing and I added all 111 books in no time! The idea behind it is that along with the book jar, I’ll also pick up one highest rated and one lowest rated book a month, so that I can tackle my out of control TBR.
Think it would be a good way to track my progress and inspire to pick up more books each month.
Do you guys use Goodreads? What do you use it for?
Come be my friend and show me how it’s done – https://www.goodreads.com/Bookskatlikes
I mainly use Goodreads to track what I read and what I want to read. There’s the part of it that gives you suggestions of what to read based on what you’ve read and enjoyed, but I try to stay off of that because my TBR pile does NOT need that kind of influence! 😀
HAHA! I know, it’s awful! I’ve doubled mine in less than a year!
