Hi friends! Since joining the “bookish” community and discovering the world of NetGalley and eBooks, I’ve noticed the struggle to read them whilst out-and-about. This is for a few reasons, but mainly because the phone is too small, the tablet on the other hand too big and heavy to carry around.
So the other day I went against everything I believe in and purchased a second-hand kindle (because, you know, your old is someone’s new and it’s all about saving money in this cruel world!).
Okay, so it has just arrived and…. WHY AM I SO EXCITED?!
It’s so cute, it’s small, it weighs about as much as a feather and honestly from the first impressions it seems like the best decision ever.
Don’t get me wrong – I love a physical book. I love the feeling of turning the pages, and being able see how far I am in the process. I also always need to check the back of the book to find out how many pages it has before starting it. Is this just me?
Am I going to be a convert? Probably not, but only time will tell. And never say never.
