Afternoon friends! Am I too late to jump on the 21 books in 2021? Oh well, it’s happening anyway. Oops! Yes, one of my New Year resolutions was to only read what I’m in the mood for and not set a monthly to-be-read list, but an annual can’t be too much of a struggle, surely..? Forgive me, I’m not quite sure if this is a thing, but I chose the books from those I already own, so I can support my doomed-to-fail attempt to not buy *too many* books this year… So here’s the list for 21 books in 2021 (in no particular order) from my current TBR:

  1. Tiffany D. Jackson – Monday’s Not Coming
  2. Stephen King – 11.22.63 (started)
  3. Markus Zusak – The Book Thief
  4. Chris Whitaker – We Begin at the End
  5. Malorie Blackman – Checkmate ✓
  6. Malorie Blackman – Double Cross ✓
  7. Malorie Blackman – Cross Fire ✓
  8. Michelle Richmond – The Marriage Pact
  9. Philippa Gregory – The King’s Curse
  10. Shaun Attwood – Un-Making a Murderer
  11. Stephen Chbosky – The Perks of Being a Wallflower ✓
  12. Nic Stone – Dear Martin
  13. Jessica Pan – Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want to Come
  14. Toshikazu Kawaguchi – Before the Coffee Gets Cold (started)
  15. Angie Thomas – Concrete Rose
  16. Steve Cavanagh – The Liar
  17. Ta-Nehisi Coates – The Water Dancer (started)
  18. Sarah Waters – The Little Stranger
  19. Tiffany D. Jackson – Grown ✓
  20. Rosie Walsh – The Man Who Didn’t Call
  21. Kiley Reid – Such a Fun Age ✓

Of course there are plenty more that I’d love to get to this year, and I will be playing most of this year by ear. Some of those books have been on my radar for quite some time, some have only just been added. Regardless, I will keep this post updated as and when I manage to complete the book(s). Will you be joining me?

Comment down below the three books you want to definitely finish this year?
