Favourite Audiobook Narrators | Tell Me Something Tuesday

Oh hi, remember me? No? I don’t blame you, really. Let’s start again – Hi, I’m Kat, a 30 something year old who completely deserted her book blog in the month of May and is trying to make a comeback. I’m here. Now. Please have me back oh dear Tuesday.. and lets talk about audiobook narrators!

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post on Rainy Day Ramblings where a wide range of topics is being discussed from books to blogging. This week’s theme:

Who are some of your favorite audiobook narrators?

I don’t purchase audio books that often; until recently after I joined Audible for the trial period when I decided to walk to the station in the mornings instead of getting a bus. I’ve started to listen to them more and more, and I tell you what, it’s funny that the week I’m getting my act together and get back into TMST, I have just purchased The Passengers by John Marrs. The reason why I got it is because it’s narrated by one of my favourite voices there is – Clare Corbett. I have listened to The Girl on the Train so many times I’ve lost count, just because I love her voice so much.

Kate Rudd is also one that I absolutely adore. She narrated The Fault in our Stars which is also one of my favourite books, you know like – EVER.

I can’t even tell you why I like their voices – I just do. Check them out, and tell me you disagree! I dare you haha x

I also recently stumbled across a YouTube channel called Jake Munro- the guy isn’t a “professional narrator”, but he has the perfect voice for it. Here’s an example (warning, his content is great but he’s wearing scary make up!)
