Well hello there my friend! It truly has been a while since my last post, and even longer since the last Thursday Quotables post on my blog. To be honest I’ve been in a major reading slump throughout the whole of this year, so getting through any book is a bonus.. and when I find the motivation to write about what I’ve read it’s a double bonus!
Thursday Quotables is the place to highlight a great quote, line, or passage discovered during your reading each week. Whether it’s something funny, startling, gut-wrenching, or just really beautifully written. Thursday Quotables is where my favorite lines will be, and you’re invited to join in! Created by Lisa, over at Bookshelf Fantasies, and joined in by, well, me!

“Because it takes a real man to love that deeply. Because that’s what makes us cry, Francis. Love. Don’t ever be ashamed of it.”
“Then they came for me – and there was noone left to speak for me.
At what point do you take a stand? When will you speak?”
“Doing the right thing has consequences, same as doing nothing. And it can be just as hard to look at yourself in the mirror.”
If you’ve been following my reading journey for a while now, you may be familiar with my love for Eddie Flynn. The smart ex-con-artist turned lawyer who has a heart of gold and the brain of the cleverest person ever. Steve Cavanagh has created a character I will forever follow around in any book he writes until the day he decides to crush me by ending the series. When this happens, I promise not to turn all Annie on him! (If you haven’t read Misery by Stephen King, I strongly urge you to, to get the reference!)
Hope you are doing well! Let me know what your favourite quotes were this week?
