Hi friends, long time no see! How are you? Hope you have been keeping well.
I’ve been in the longest reading slump, ever. I have felt so unmotivated and just fed up with the constant bad news within the family. To be completely honest I cannot wait to see the back of this dumpster fire of a year and start from a clean slate.
Some of you may have noticed that I’ve moved this blog to a brand new domain – to bookskatlikes.co.uk. Let me explain.
I spent very little time on my blog over the past year; especially the latter part of 2021. Sitting down to concentrate on anything other than TV has been a real struggle. So I haven’t been forcing myself either. The boyfriend and I have re-watched numerous TV shows, such as Dexter, Breaking Bad, The Sons of Anarchy. I’ve watched more films this year than I think ever before. (Should I think about reviewing films, too?!)
Anyway, long story short- when it came to renewing everything to do with my .com domain I thought to myself if it really was worth it and decided it was not. I cancelled everything and before I convinced myself I’ve only gone and overreacted and should just continue, it was too late. The domain was no longer available, which meant I had to move my blog somewhere else. (Here!)
So welcome to www.bookskatlikes.co.uk where I continue to occasionally ramble about books I read, when I do. And maybe write about some other things I like to do/watch in the future as well. Time will tell.
I’ve spent many evenings and sleepless nights trying to make sure all my old posts, links and photos have uploaded correctly, but please accept my sincere apologies if you stumble across a few I’ve missed. Please let me know if you do find any issues, so that I could fix the mistakes I’ve accidentally not made good yet.
But for now I simply look forward to sharing the things I love with you again on my new page!
